The Third Window

An homage to the Belgian Dubbels brewed by Trappist monks, The Third Window showcases sweet malt character balanced by the expressive fruity esters of Belgian Abbey yeast. Layers of warm spice, banana bread, dark fruit, and crème brûlée unfold across the palate, giving way to a smooth finish.

The Third Window honors the defining symbol at the heart of St. Barbara’s story. According to tradition, Barbara converted to Christianity in the third century CE, when the faith was illegal in the Roman Empire. While confined in a tower by her father, she had a third window added to symbolize the Holy Trinity. The three windows became the enduring emblem of her legend—and the inspiration behind our brewery’s name—connecting this Abbey-style series to the story of St. Barbara, the namesake of the city we call home.
