Centeōtl

Named for the Aztec god of corn, Centeōtl honors both ancient agriculture and the early evolution of lager brewing in Mexico, where Old World methods met New World ingredients. Corn—central to Mesoamerican culture—became a defining expression of place.

This batch is brewed with malted Hopi blue corn, a heritage grain long cultivated in the American Southwest, known for its resilience and enduring role in Hopi food traditions. This iteration of Centeōtl explores a different expression of corn as we work toward growing and brewing with corn from our own fields.

Brewed with respect for classic process and regional terroir, Centeōtl remains a Mexican-style lager rooted in land, history, and harvest. Pouring pale gold with a clean body and crisp, refreshing finish, it feels right at home on the Southern California coast.
