We began with \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eLightning of Dioscorus\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, our Belgian-style Quad, and matured it for over two years in Heaven Hill and Willett bourbon barrels. We then blended in fresh Russian Imperial Stout before conditioning the blend on Deglet Noor dates—the same variety used in those famous milkshakes—and whole vanilla beans.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe result is a luxurious, full-bodied beer with notes of molasses, Fig Newtons, toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate, and mulling spices.
